Registration & courses

Course Registration

Registration for courses at the Faculty of Law and Administration is carried out online using an IT system, i.e. USOSweb (University Study-Oriented System), in which each student has his/her own account.

Remember that you have to be registered in USOSweb for all the courses you attend.

Registration deadline:

  • Summer semester 2025/26: Registration for Erasmus+ courses will begin on January 19, 2026, at 20:30 and will last until February 22, 2026, at 23:59 in USOSweb.

Please note that other students may wish to join the same class, so do not wait until the end of the registration period, as places may already be taken.

No places available on the course

Please bear in mind that even though your Before the Mobility Learning Agreement have been accepted, it doesn’t guarantee that you will be registered for the classes. You need to register via registration tools specified by our University such as USOSweb system.

If the course you want to take is full (there are no places available), contact the lecturer of the course and get permission to be added to the course. Then contact the Mobility Coordinator (erasmus@wpia.uw.edu.pl) and ask to be manually added to the course — in the body of the email, attach a screenshot containing the class lecturer’s permission or forward email with lecturer’s consent.

Manual addition to the course is possible after the closing of registration in USOSweb (i.e. after  after February 22, 2026). Please note that changes to courses can be made up to 2 weeks after the start of the semester.

Unregistering from a course

Once the registration period is closed, you will not be able to unregister from a course. It will stay on your account in USOSweb even if you do not attend it. At the end you will get a statutory fail grade for this class.

As mentioned above, changes in courses in exceptional situations can be made up to a maximum of 2 weeks after the start of the semester — then we will manually deregister you.

Please remember that deleting a course in your Learning Agreement does not mean that you will be automatically unregistered from the course in USOSweb!

Courses should not overlap

Classes are conducted live and attendance is obligatory at most of the courses — only (2) two absences per semester are allowed. It will not be possible to participate in two or more courses held at the same time. Make sure no courses overlap in your timetable.

The maximum number of ECTS points

The maximum number of ECTS points per semester is 30. In justified cases it is possible to apply for additional ECTS points. If you need to exceed the 33 ECTS limit, please contact the IRO.

In addition, every student has to take courses from his/her receiving unit. It is also possible to take courses offered by two other units.
